Professional Consulting & Representation

OUR SERVICES

We have the highest level of immigration accreditation, professional adviser Level 3 OISC/ level2 Law Society IAAS accredited.

We take care to choose the best immigration option for you as well as working out in advance if you qualify for the relevant route.

Once clients have indicated that they wish to sign up with us, we send them a client care letter. This provides details of our advice, the nature of your case and the fees we will charge.

This document is important, as it provides in writing all the terms of conditions.
Once the client care letter has been read and you indicate that you wish to proceed, we will ask for an initial payment, usually half of our fee. We then create a list of documents to gather for us based specifically upon the instructions we have taken from you.

You do your best to gather those documents and we are of course on hand to assist in the gathering of those documents.

We ensure that the application has the best prospect of success by properly completing the form, indexing and cataloguing all the supporting documents, as well as writing detailed representations on the case and including all the leading case law precedents.

Once the application is sent off, we track it to make sure it arrives in good time and then deal with any correspondence, acknowledgements and queries on your behalf and in conjunction with you until the application is granted.

Legal Practitioners & Co undertakes appeal work, and we are often instructed when an application by another immigration solicitor is refused.

We note that immigration matters often cause significant stress and anxiety, without having to deal with strict and uncertain UK Immigration Rules.

Our objective is to take away those worries from you.

OUR PRICES ARE FIXED WITH NO HIDDEN 'SURPRISES'. WE BELIEVE THAT THE PRICES WE QUOTE WILL BE A FAIR INDICATION OF THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THAT WE WILL PLACE INTO YOUR IMMIGRATION MATTER. AND YET YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT THE PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE COMPARED TO THE SOLICITORS' PRICES FOR THE SAME APPLICATIONS ANYWHERE.

HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT

If you aren’t happy with your immigration adviser, you must not be afraid to speak up. Tell them what’s gone wrong, and ask them to put things right.

If you are still unhappy, you can make a formal complaint to either the Law Society or the OISC. Immigration advisers must have a complaint scheme should things go wrong.

You can complain to the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) about either of the following:

  • bad service you received from an adviser registered with OISC;

  • bad immigration advice you received from an unregulated person, who charged you fees. Such a person would not posses the required legal knowledge acquired by years of legal training and could not be insured as a professional, so you will not recover your money back, should things go wrong,

You can also ask someone to make a complaint on your behalf, for example a friend, solicitor or voluntary organisation.
